Such a unique dining experience! You are first welcomed with a drink while you wait to be seated. Appetizers come first followed by the entrees. Each steak comes with a soup, salad, onion rings, vegetable of the day, and a baked potato. The meal is spaced out well so you don’t feel too full throughout the courses. The food was delicious!! After dinner you are given a tour of the kitchen and the wine cellar. Very special experience. Finally for dessert, you are taken to a dessert room and sit in a private table. The dessert options are seemingly endless. I loved the dining experience and the food was fantastic !!
My husband and I ate at the restaurant and then did the dessert room afterwards. Both were decent, but don’t think the food is anything special. It was good, but don’t think it lived up to the expectations set based on other reviews. The ambiance was neat and our server (Eric) was fantastic, but food was standard and didn’t seem like anything exceptional. Everything was good, but nothing stood out and made me want to come back. Glad I tried it, but doubt I’ll be back. Seems like more of a one time experience to try it and see the decor/building.
It took 2 months to get our reservation. Was it worth it.. Definately! I'm gonna point out a few minor things that made this experience a 4.5 star. After consideration, they deserve a 5 star. My wife's steak was really rare even though she it wanted pink in the middle. BUT, they took it back and returned it in record time. My lamb chops were great. Baby carrots, Mac & Cheese extra side were to die for. Awesome salad with a large variety of amazing in-house, homemade dressings. They come up short with cheap bacon bits. Taste artificial. The atmosphere is loud. It's hard to have a personal conversation. The tour is a must. Amazing history, and the staff in the kitchen is friendly and commendable. What a large menu for both seafood and non seafood. They will work with you on what you order. Can't beat that. Our dinner server was very professional and accommodating. Ah, now the dessert. We got a sampler of 3 types of dessert (called the triology) and the Black Raspberry cake (our favorite)
