Damian's Cajun Soul Cafe

I moved to Arlington a little over a month ago. I noticed Damian’s Cajun Soul Cafe every day when I pass by there leaving my house. It’s only 4 minutes from me. So I decided to try it after reading reviews. Today is Sunday so I figured today would be a good day to try it. Let’s just say I’m mad at myself for waiting a month to try their food! Everything was delicious! I had the oxtails with rice & gravy, collard greens mac n cheese and cornbread. I couldn’t decide on which dessert so I got peach cobbler and the praline candy cheesecake. I have absolutely no complaints! Everything was seasoned perfectly. I ate 5 hours ago and I’m still full…lol. The lady who took my order was friendly. I didn’t get her name. I will definitely be back!

Was there for a private party with a fixed menu, so I didn't look at a menu. The food was extremely good. Every dish was very well seasoned and most had a definite kick. The Mac and Cheese was my favorite, while my wife really enjoyed the candied yams. We will be back during regular hours to see prices and try some of the other items.

Absolutely delicious! I had the fried catfish w/ green beans and collard greens and hush puppies. Perfectly seasoned, the fish was crispy and flaky inside. My sister had the seafood gumbo and pecan peach cobbler. My daughter and son-in-law had the chicken fried chicken w/mashed potatoes and yams. Everyone was satisfied, large portions, everyone had leftovers. The owner was great! He manned the order station and then went around making sure all his customers were satisfied. He offered a cookie for my grandbaby. He was just so nice. I’ll definitely be back.
