This place was so convenient and right around the corner from our hotel, The Roosevelt. It was in walking distance and was easily accessible and convenient when picking up a quick, nice, good and hearty bite to eat before our airboat ride. It was more than enough food and they didn't disappoint on the portions. My husband and I enjoyed our breakfast, both of us had spinach omelets and the grits were really good and creamy and the hash browns were cooked just right. .
I got the country fried steak breakfast. Comes with the steak your choice of eggs, grits or hashbrowns and toast or a biscuit. I get this breakfast frequently from several different places and this was without a doubt my favorite. The breading on the steak was perfect and the biscuit was definitely top tier. I’m not sure about the rest of the menu but this was great. Definitely go here for breakfast
If I could give 6 stars, I would!! We were going to go to the Hobnobbers, but walked right out because it smelled weird and was really small and moreso a bar than a sit-down restaurant. I am SO GLAD we did!! Daisy's was amazing!! First of all, it was clean and open, plenty of space, great music, and the service was impeccable. They seated us right away and were so kind and welcoming. The food came out fast and it was hot and fresh. The Gumbo was delicious, and my half alligator sausage po-boy was PLENTY for one person. It was so good!! Drinks were BOGO free and stiff! We can't wait to go back, but they are closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so we have to wait. JUST GO!! And try the GUMBO!!
