Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

Our experience at Dairy Queen was very positive. There was hardly a wait, the food was great and the service was excellent! Emma took our order and she was incredibly helpful and kind. We ate in the dining area which was comfortable and open. The outdoor seating looks beautiful and even has a faux fireplace which really adds to the aesthetic of the porch. Overall I was very pleasantly surprised by our visit and will definitely be returning.

Out of all the Diary Queen locations near me, I'd drive extra to get to the one on Portage Trail. It's a new building, fire pit outside and comfortable inside. We got a Chicken strip basket and an A1 burger, and ate inside. Food came out within 5 minutes and was hot. Chicken was much bigger than the strips at other Dairy Queens and I had more onion rings too. Best part was the bread. I'm use to getting a slice of Texas toast, usually not toasted, not cut, not buttered, just thrown in on top the Chicken. This place, it was grillled...buttered, cut, and tasted so good! It's little things like that, that you notice. Burger was hot, juicy and perfect. Staff was nice, and in general everything was great. We'll definitely drive extra to go to this one!

So much nicer than the previous building. I actually prefer parking and going inside to wait for my food. Drive thru has 2 lanes which helps the flow of traffic.
