Reviews for Daikokuya Monterey Park

The food was just alright. The fried squid was tough. Ramen was just okay. Really the only thing that won't disappoint across all locations is the salad. The staff was friendly. The inside is very small. I think the Daikokuya locations at Little Tokyo and El Monte are preferable.
Food was excellent. I was really surprised about the quality (I ordered the famous Daikokuya Ramen). It was accompanied with good and attentive service. The local was not really good. To reach the restaurant, we needed to go through a parking area where 'dangerous' people were waiting inside of their big cars. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free
Noodles so good I didn’t even wait to take a photo before digging in! (Or maybe I was just really hungry because we had a long wait to get a table. ????) The noodles were really good and the staff are very friendly. Just be prepared to wait a bit for a table as it’s a small restaurant and it is very popular.
