We went to the Gilbert location as a group of 8 people for Father's Day at 3:00 p.m. Since we were there early, the restaurant was not busy. Despite the fact that we had a reservation, the host staff did not seem ready for us. In their youthfulness, the host staff does not seem to understand the struggles of guests with mobility issues. While they tried to sort out where to seat our group, my dad was left in the entrance area clinging to his walker for balance. When we were directed to the table, a staff member did not step aside to allow my dad an easily navigatible path. There was some confusion regarding who would be our server, but it was eventually determined that Harley would be assigned to our group. The drink menu is more extensive than the food menu. This was a nice place. Food was tasty & drinks were really good. I really liked all the drinks! Bursting with flavor & super spicy on the spicy ones so be careful if that’s not your thing! Would definitely return to try more menu items! … More
We had heard good things about Culinary Dropout so we gave it a try. It has an open, college-town bar feel. And while we heard good reviews, what we didn't hear was how outstanding their fried chicken dinner was. I'm glad I ordered it because THAT'S how you create a tasty breaded coating to give some much needed flavor to the chicken. The 36-hour ribs were good, too, although my personal preference is for smoked ribs.
