The greens were crunchy, not done. Most of the meals were excellent. I wanted smothered chicken. The server did really well with 14 orders, however she did not send my order in correctly. My meal was brought our several times, but the chicken was not smothered. Once the error was noticed, a smothered 3 piece dinner was brought out. It tasted dried out and pasty. I paid for 15 dinners with a $100.00 tip. The server brought out two pieces of fried chicken as I requested. The sweet potatoes were sweet but not candied. If the greens are not ready to serve, do not serve them. The quality of my meal should not change due to your error. I would have taken my meal to go if it had been delayed. Feel free to call or text me if you need more details. My family was happy. I am disappointed.
Overall the food quality has gone down. The chicken & waffles were the best part. Biscuits gravy are not as I've had before from this place. They accidentally put cilantro on our gravy and when we sent it back they didn't offer to replace it. I'd say go here for the chicken... and waffles lol
Have always been a fan of LoLos since I first tried it over at the scottsdale location 10 years ago. The chicken has always tasted great, crunchy outside with tender juicy inside. Blend that with some waffles and bumping some nice tunes while enjoying your meal always makes for a great experience We went to the Gilbert location and the food tasted the same as always. Had fried Okra on the side and... the kids loved it! Hint hint if you wanna sneak some veggies to them ????. Staff did give us a heads up to let us know they were understaffed and that food being cooked would take longer than usual. Since they gave us a heads up and we were with family with plenty of time to talk about things, this wasn't a problem. I do miss the vinegar/ pepper condiment that they used to have. Overall experience was still great but for anyone that's in a rush or wants that quick bite, best to wait until they're back to full staff to get that quicker service.
