Cru Cafe

Had a great Lunch experience at the Cru Cafe! Sat on the porch and enjoyed the view and action on the street nearby. Every portion of my meal was excellent! Fried green tomatoes! Shrimp basket! And the Orange Sherbet Cake was the best cake I have had maybe ever!!!

We grabbed a last minute reservation inside after a hot morning in the city. We wanted good food, good atmosphere, and a moderate price range and Cru Cafe delivered! The outside patio was very cute too and would make a good seating option, but nothing beat the inside AC today! I loved the homey, intimate dining experience. The food was delicious, especially the mac and cheese! Our waitress Kelsey was very sweet and attentive. We will definitely be returning and recommending Cru Cafe to friends!

Such a great brunch place!! Definitely worth checking this place out if you are visiting Charleston. The food was amazing and the staff was very friendly. We tried many different items (most of their staples) and we LOVED them all. The truffle fries are crispy, thin and delicious, the truffle mushroom soup is the best if you are mushroom soup lover, the shrimp BLT is pretty good but we liked the roast beef sandwich more. It was the BEST roast beef sandwich I ever had. Oh and the mac n cheese… out of this world, so flavorful!! Prices were reasonable and the atmosphere was very unique. Worth making a reservation in advance to avoid any wait times.
