Great food, service and ambiance. Elegant, classy and relaxed restaurant. We had the calamari appetizer, shrimp and grits, flounder, seafood a la wando and salmon. All very tasty and perfectly prepared. You can't go wrong with anything! Our waiter Matthew was attentive friendly and professional. Definitely coming back.
Okay so we can quiet the rumors about how good Hank’s Seafood is. It’s GREAT! I had the #1 Seafood Platter. Fried Shrimp, Fried Grouper, Fries and Cole Slaw. Hank’s Seafood is the equivalent to Jeff Ruby’s steakhouse or Ruth’s Chris. It’s that good. The restaurant is all open with booths on the walls and tables throughout the middle. It’s not quiet. But the atmosphere is private enough for you to Enjoy your experience.
Hank's is hands down delicious. It's a beautiful restaurant with great service. The food is really, really good. The seafood Wando was spectacular. Shrimp and grits was very good, and the clams appetizer was tasty. The oysters casino were absolutely amazing. We would probably order 2 of those next time! It's rated the best seafood restaurant in Charleston for a reason. Excellent all around.
