We did get to meet the owner who was very nice and gracious. This was our first time there. He made sure we had free samples of his famous Greens, Mac & Cheese, and Yams. I ordered the Salmon with a side of Baked Beans. All of the food taste great. The staff was very friendly. If you haven't already been there, you should try it.
This place was an extremely pleasant surprise. Wanted to check out another diner over here on the west side, this place heavily exceeded my expectations. Was met at the table with greens as soon as we got there. They were delicious, very well seasoned with a small hit of spice. As the waitress came out with our drinks, the head chef came out and said hello and brought us all some ribs to try. The food was really great and super reasonably priced. Anywhere you can get full for $15 is a good deal to me, plus it was genuinely delicious on top of it. As far as a quick greasy spoon goes, this is one of my new favorites. Friendly quick service, good food, and low price.
First time ordering from this place and we loved it! You get a lot for what you pay and the salmon alfredo was delicious. They also included hot sauce, tartar sauce, and ketchup for our fish and chips which was very thoughtful. Very satisfied with my order. It was worth every penny!!
