I usually like the food at Crown but this time I tried the fish sandwich. It says online that it’s halibut, however, it was cod and tasteless! I drowned it in extra tartar sauce, just so I had some flavor. Everyone else enjoyed their burgers, fries and deep-fried mushrooms. The service here is always terrific, and it was very clean, well lit with tables in addition to booths.
I was not even that hungry when we went here, but got the Crown Burger anyway. It did not disappoint, the pastrami on it really made it pop! For sure, will be going here again. The fries were meh. The place was clean, looking at you Mr. Bathroom and the employees were very nice.
I got their limited time 2 piece fried chicken. Wasn't as crispy as I would have liked it to be. The way it was cut I got a wing, then the other piece was a wing with a chunk of breast meat attached. For me 2 wing fried chicken dinner with a salad, Greek dressing and fries it was good. A little over priced at $10. Wouldn't order it again.
