Creek Side Taco Shack

The place was nice, relaxing atmosphere, beach-like with sand, benches, and a large beach-like & sandy area for kids to play. Cute little place really. The service was very slow, I am an understanding person and I know a lot of businesses are short-staffed but being that it wasn’t too busy for our day-of-the-week, early dinner outing, service was just way too slow. We waited about 30-45 minutes for our food. I ordered chicken tenders w/fries for my kids and the tiny tenders looked more like nuggets, very small & a huge portion of fried. The tenders’ inner meat was tender but I do feel it lacked more seasoning. My oldest ordered chips & salsa and a side of refried beans, I think the beans were decent, the chips were nicely seasoned but the salsa is too watered down & lacked a lot of season/flavor, I could taste the tomato but not much else. I ordered some chicken basket which is three chicken tacos loaded with chicken, lettuce & shredded cheese. The chicken lacked a little flavor but it

Love this place and really don't want the secret to get out how great this place is! This place is nestled on a corner lot with a frisbee golf in the back, sand all around makes you feel like you really have escaped the valley. Taco basket is good. Grilled veggie tacos is also tasty. You can beers and margaritas too. Little campfires rings, plenty of umbrellas. A volleyball court and plenty of places for the kiddos to dig in the sand. Shhh don't tell anyone how awesome this place is!

Don’t come for the food! Don’t come for the service! Don’t come on the weekend! It’s like Chucky Cheese with all the kids running wild. There are signs up but not enforced. I walked 10 feet to grabbed napkins and had sand kicked up on by running kids. This is self serve unless you are at the bar. They are always out of things so have a backup plan of what you want to eat. Today they ran out of cheese. It’s very unorganized and has always been. Keep your credit cards on you as they lost my card last time I was here. Mosquitoes are really bad here when it rains or in the summer/fall. THE ONLY THING YOU COME HERE FOR IS THE ATMOSPHERE! It’s a tourist place. So bring your visitors just for that reason. If it rains or the sprinklers are going, plan on walking through mud in the parking lot. The lot is always muddy! I can’t stress enough on how the kids run wild here. Parents at the bar and let their kids run everywhere! This is a one and done on visits.
