We were in town & were staying in the neighborhood, so of course we had to check out Craig’s. They were very accommodating in regards to being willing to move our reservation to a later time, which I appreciate. What I don’t appreciate, is being seated at a tiny, random table in the middle of the restaurant, with a second tiny table less than 6 inches away. In fact, I was actually insulted by that gesture. It seemed calculated and almost like they wanted all the regulars that were seated in booths to gawk at you, as clearly and obviously you were not a local or regular, because they’d NEVER be put at that embarrassing table. The waiter was not exactly helpful. At this restaurant, and many others in LA, if you’re a nobody, you are a NOBODY and are treated as such, but Craig’s really embodied that treatment. Thinking back on it, I wish I would have refused that table. If you get put at one of those tiny tables inside the restaurant, just be aware that it’s an insult. Food was just OK. Go

Their point of sale system was down due to Internet issues and the host was incredibly polite and apologetic about it even though it was no one's fault. On top of that we got 3 lovely containers of ice cream for our birthday celebration. I was very impressed by the kindness and excellent manners of the gentleman who greeted us and extended this courtesy. More restaurants and hosts in particular can learn from them as to what to do to make a crisis situation a good experience for everyone involved.

A delicious dinner in a fun part of town. West Hollywood is always entertaining and tonight being Grammys night it was especially lively with a few celebrities dining in tonight as well. I know it’s known as a celebrity hotspot, a paparazzo was literally out front when we left and as we dined, but personally I don’t care about or go anywhere for celebrities so I was here for the food specifically. We were able to find parking a block away for a 6PM Sunday dinner, but this area can get quite hard to find a space depending on the day and time. Our server Seth was very attentive and did a great job. This is the sort of place that people know all the employees by name, there were a lot of regulars dining in tonight as well. They have a full bar on the east side of the restaurant and a lot of tables and booths on the west side. I have heard that they some of the best Chicken Parmesan in town so I wanted to try and see how good it is compared to Dan Tana’s. I would say it’s very close and e
