Our bartender was on point. He was able to make the drinks to our specifications. The decor was lovely. We would have enjoyed it more if we had better seating. The server was nice. We had steak, Alaskan halibut, truffle fries, shrimp cocktail, and some sides. Overall the food was a bit lackluster. Nothing from the meal really stood out. Unfortunately we could not eat the steaks. I know its not a steak house but I do expect quality and flavorful food. We will probably go back just for happy hour only. Thanks Catch LA for an interesting experience.
We had reservations for brunch at 230 and were seated early. The restaurant space is beautiful with flowers everywhere. We sat on the rooftop outside and had views of the city. Everything we ordered tasted amazing and fresh. Our food was out in minutes and our server Andy was seriously the best. Highly recommend the lush lemonade cocktail, tartare trio, surf and turf roll, and parmesan fries. I wanted to try the hit me cake but was too full, so maybe next time. We will definitely be back again.
Catch LA was great but not what I expected. The food and drinks were delicious but the service was nothing special. The restaurant is beautiful and has great spots to take pictures but the actual dining area is a bit crowded and the place gets loud enough to where you can't hear the person at your table. It's a great spot with the potential to provide an experience that's worth the price but I left wondering if I spent a bit too much to sit on a crowded roof. Features: Did not ask for mask or vaccination. Most staff was not wearing a mask. No social distancing as far as table spacing or limiting people in bathrooms, elevators, etc.
