Craft Urban Aurora

Had very high expectations for this place. Their Gentrified menu was no good from their so-called best nachos in the world which are in fact a one out of five. The cheese was grainy and seemed to be old, couldn’t taste the chipotle. The cilantro, radishes and tomato were just for show “garnish” since they weren’t even chopped. Let me not talk about the pulled pork. Chipotle’s carnitas are better and they come from a bag. The fry in my nachos was a nice surprise, too bad it was hard and cold.. Horrible service. The server seem to be in a rush as she told us “the kitchen closes in 15” yet she took 10 minutes to bring water. My drink came in a tall glass even though it should be served in a rocks glass. Aurora tap water was good. The only dessert they had on the menu had too much salt, yeah I like salted caramel stuff, but their version of a deconstructed s’mores which is not original at all was a let down. Might give them a second chance but lots of things have to improve.

Craft Urban is a super nice addition to the quality restaurants of Aurora. The Crispy Chicken Sandwich is extremely tasty, and pickley (in a good way). Staff is very nice and cordial, they did a great job of making our experience over par as we came in around closing time unknowingly. Highly recommend to anyone in the area!

Very cool modern restaurant in downtown Aurora. Excellent cocktails! The old fashioned and night in Jalisco drinks were great. We tried the Korean BBQ tacos, brisket burger, buffalo cauliflower, and tempura flor de calabaza. Our server Clare was amazing. Great dining experience and we will be returning!
