I can’t believe I’ve never reviewed this place, and we’ve been here together and separately on too many occasions to count - all good! The place is always clean & bright. We have never waited for a table. The food is delicious no matter what we get. Tonight, Andrew took care of us. He took our drink and food orders at the same time. Drinks came out right away. Andrew brought out Husband’s country fried steak - his favorite - and my chicken pot pie in a reasonable amount of time. This was my first time having the pot pie. It was so good, and just enough. I did not feel stuffed. As usual, the country fried steak, corn, and mashed potatoes were delicious. We took the biscuits home for tomorrow morning’s breakfast. The gift store is a treat. Since we didn’t wait to be seated, we took time after our meal to look around. They have so many different items for gifts or for oneself. We always pick up Harry Potter jelly bellies for our Harry Potter loving niece.
Eat breakfast at least 1-2 a month here. Always greeted warmly by hostess and waiter/waitress. Food comes out hot and freshly made. Coffee and drinks stay topped up. Building looks like all other Cracker Barrels so no surprise there. Gift shop is kept clean and organized. Only complaint is their pay on mobile never seems to work regardless of credit card used.
