Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

First of all, we had a wonderful waitress and the food was very good once we got it but getting to that point was another story.. Prior to being seated we waited several minutes at the hostess check in with no offering of help. The manager saw us but didn't send anyone over. After we asked a cashier for help, then we were seated. We ended up eating quickly and being late for our appointment because it took so long for the food to arrive. Floors looked liked they had not been swept all day and our knives were visibly dirty, we didn't use them. It just was not a great customer experience. Servers were scrambling and working hard.

Our servers name was Jordan, and he was phenomenal. We walked in and the restaurant was completely packed, but he was prompt and genuine, was able to get our entire order in at once and made sure we didn't have any issues during our meal. He was overall an outstanding server. We spoke to a manager about how amazing he was but also wanted to post it here to let everyone else know. I hope he gets the recognition he deserves from management.

This is our go to restaurant when we want breakfast foods- whether it's breakfast time or not! The best pancakes hands down! My daughter also loves their scrambled eggs with cheese and fried apples. The attached shopping area is irresistible. They have so many cute items.
