Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

I was there today with a friend. Too crowded. The tables are too close to others. Ordered the grandmas sampler. French toast was only bread flipped on a grill, was not French toast. Eggs were fine. The hash brown sample was ok and the sausage, ham and bacon pieces were overcooked and could barely cut them, even after I asked for a knife. You need to do better. Today is Sunday Oct. 15 2023. Oh, and the wait was long. Mainly, the food was not cooked correctly.

I was served biscuits and gravy... without the gravy! They had apparently run out but were still serving dishes. I had never been to Cracker Barrel before and was very disappointed.

Came here as a joke to explore the most American restaurant possible and ended up having a blast! Very reasonable pricing and comforting food. We had the chicken pot pie and the Coca Cola cake. The complimentary biscuits were to die for!! Really buttery and warm and the perfect amount of flaky. Would make the 40 mile round trip to come back here :)
