Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Not as good as I remember it once was. Had to wait to get on the list for 10 minutes. Waited 15 minutes for a table and than 45 minutes for food. I know it's busy and all. But not worth the hassle for a basic breakfast.

Love Cracker Barrel but on Wednesday this week, could not get anyone to answer the phone to take orders around 2 pm. After arriving at Cracker Barrel, one of the employees had turned the ringer on the phone down and they couldn't hear the phone. That is inexcusable. Some people do not use APPs to order food. We waited almost an hour for our food. The food was delicious but need to fill containers full and add juice to beans, dumplings, etc. There were 3 workers supposed to be putting out merchandise but mostly they were talking. If you are being paid to work, then work. The workplace isn't for visiting. Pay attention to how long people are waiting and at least see what is taking so long to give people updates. I know it is hard to get good work but not one person asked if they could help or check on our food. This isn't the Cracker Barrel I am used to and would like to see it to be more customer service oriented instead of visiting among employees.

The location is great because there is plenty of parking and you don’t have to walk to another parking lot of another business and walk back over. The wait staff feels a little under staffed. They were kind but seemed rushed and couldn’t spend as much time with our table as they would have liked. The food itself is great as always! The grandmas sampler is perfect, pancakes, eggs, bacon, ham, hashbrowns and biscuits!
