It took 20 minutes to get drinks, 45 minutes to get biscuits and silverware, and when our food finally came out after an hour most things were wrong. Our waitress seemed confused about what food was what and eventually handed us off to a completely different waitress, who actually got the food out correctly. We had a large party of 12 people which I can understand being a bit stressful, but our orders were pretty simple with no substitutions. There were multiple tables that got seated, ate, and paid before we even got any food, and the restaurant was not even that busy. I will say they at least gave half off the bill, but the wait for everything was absolutely atrocious.
Great way to brighten your morning! If you’re looking for excellent service and good food try this Cracker Barrel in Ferguson, Missouri. Catherine takes your order with skills and efficiency. She gets you going right away if you’re in a hurry! Shanair is able to help you navigate through all of the wonderful goodies that the store has to offer. I’m so glad I started my morning with Cracker Barrel!
I love me some Cracker Barrel!! So this review is not a reflection of the chain as a whole but rather this specific location. Customer service was just bad I'm sad to say. I hate to give bad reviews but how is a location going to improve unless we're honest? After being seated it took about 15 minutes for the server to bring us menus and take our drink order. After he brought us coffee there was no silverware to mix the cream and sugar so we had to wait for that while the coffee was getting cold. He took our order and my over-hard eggs came out over-easy but I had no time to wait for them to redo them. Then it look forever to get napkins brought to us after asking three times. There were only around 15 tables seated in the restaurant at this time so it wasn't a matter of being slammed or I would not even write this review. Just hoping you do better. I'll be back to Cracker Barrel but not this location.
