Cottonwood Heights Cafe

Both my GF and I ordered burgers (pastrami and cottonwood). I am baffled why they'd skimp on the meat. Everything else was fine, but the burger patty I'm not even sure was beef. It looked like a prefab turkey/veggie patty. Appearance and consistency was something you'd get in a school cafeteria. Not sure if they're more of a breakfast place, but after the nothing burger, I won't be going back.

Avoid at all costs. Very few times in my life I wanted to give a place zero stars but that's how I feel about this place. My son is allergic to eggs so we wanted to sub the egg for a piece of toast. The waitress seemed flustered which we thought was odd and had to go to the owner to ask if it was okay. He told her to charge us for an extra piece of toast even though we didn't want the egg. Obviously it makes sense why the waitress was flustered. The owner is a penny pinching micro manager. Must be miserable to work there for him. We paid for my ice tea and left. Never going back. I hope the wait staff can find new jobs.
