I was disappointed with the new menu, which has done away with the bowl of chicken & dumplings soup, and making it into a combination with 2 sides! It was something several of our ladies were looking forward to on a really cool day, but couldn't get JUST the soup. The only soups offered were the soup of the day (chicken noodle) and potato, neither of which our taste buds had been wanting or expecting! So we ended up having to choose from the "Pick two/mix and match, to get the Chicken & Dumplings soup!! Please bring back the Chicken & Dumplings soup as a sole entree.
First time here and I got the new brisket quesadilla and my bf got the chicken fried brisket, I got to say mmmm it was okay it’s not the best… either way just try it out see if you like it !!????????♀️????????♀️ Oh and by the way the service is amazing the people working there are super nice and always wanting to make sure you are okay and it doesn’t feel rushed ????
Great service. Friendly staff. Quick service & hot food at 1:30pm on a Monday. Good selection of food options on the menu. Great sweet potato fries. Good side salad. OK meatloaf. Meh Shiner Fish (good batter, but tasteless fish & the tartar sauce was bland. Would eat here again, just not the meatloaf or fish.
