Pancake and waffles taste homemade and it was delicious. Biscuits in gravy wasn't as good as I thought. My coffee was already cold when they serve the food but I understand the people in the kitchen. Their Crews are friendly and apologetic. Overall, food portion and quality is reasonable for the price. We would come back to try something else.

Gotta share the story of why I'm giving this place 5 stars. It was the day after my girlfriend and I moved into our new place. And moving, as you know, is draining. Lifting heavy boxes, trying to put together bed frames, getting everything sorted, it's always a pain. We had been doing this dance for 2 days and we were beat. Dog tired, starved, without a shred of motivation between us. So we decided Corner Cafe as an easy meal. And to say we were impressed would be an understatement. Our server, Patrick, was very polite and funny, and in no small way contributed to the experience. The pot roast dinner and the fish and chips dinners were our selections, and I can sincerely say I have never had fish half as good as I had that night. The entire meal was amazing; not a single thing escaped our praise. We stuffed ourselves near our limits, and still we pressed on to dessert. One of the best tasting chicken fried steaks I’ve had in a while. I was visiting from out of town and the mayor recommended that I go here since I was looking for local comfort food. She was right. From the themed decor, service, and vibe, it has the experience of walking into your local towns’ restaurant. The service was friendly and attentive. I came in when it was slow (late afternoon) so service was also quick. I didn’t have to flag a waiter down. I was in and out fairly quick. The food was delicious. It’s what you’d expect when ordering comfort food - large and a hearty portions. I’d certainly return again to try out the rest of the menu.
