This was absolutely the worst food I've had in a long time! 3 of us went and all 3 orders were wrong! Ordered a Philly, chicken Philly and bacon cheeseburger. All 3 we're ordered plain only meat and cheese. The bacon cheeseburger come with only a burger patty and bun and the 2 Philly's had so much mayo on them they were disgusting to even look at! Both Philly's we're 6 inch and had only enough meat for what you'd expect to see on one half that size. The Philly's plates were $13.95 which is fairly expensive for a Philly to begin with so for them to skimp on meat charging that much is ridiculous! Then the waitress got an attitude because I said we were just going elsewhere instead of letting them remake and thought I was still going to pay for the meals. I told her to bring a chick for the drinks and I'd pay for them but wasn't paying for the dinners.
Very warm and inviting atmosphere, staff and customers were very friendly. Food was well priced and delicious. Stop by heading out of town with my mom and dad for breakfast. Next time in the area, I'm definitely stopping again.
I love this place! One of the last bastions of good southern cooking left around. They've got friendly service, great food, small-town attitude, and some of the best sweet tea I've had in ages. Get out of the city for once, and try some comfort food.
