DIVINE. 13/10 If you have a special occasion coming up, or just want an elevated dining experience, you MUST go. We did the Chef's Tasting and they were more than accommodating with me being GF & various food allergies. Also....how CUTE are the butter bells???

Amazing atmosphere this place really takes your breath away when you step up / inside of it. The restaurant is tucked in the back of the property in its own little building but walking through the mansion and courtyard really sets the vibe. Dining staff is what you would expect from a restaurant of this caliber. Formal and polite, welcoming and excited to share an experience with you. The food was incredible . Chef clearly did his homework and pulls inspiration from some of the greatest restaurants in the country with his own spin on things. The pimento cheese caviar grilled cheese is a whimsical play on a southern classic only 'dressed up' The menu has a few different experiences in it each paying homage to a different culture. Everything sounds phenomenal so its difficult to pick one over the others. Dessert were 50/50 the african milk tart although breathtakingly gorgeous was lacking in flavor in most components but the apple souffle (server's suggested) was quite tasty and well exe

What an incredible evening! I made reservations for my wife and I as we are in SC visiting for our anniversary and Circa 1886 could not have been more welcoming! Everyone was highly attentive. They sat us in a booth set aside from the dining room and had a gorgeous rose table setting. Our food, honestly, was impressive. They brought us a starter from the chef (in addition to the one we ordered) which was a goat cheese mousse paired with chilled tomato soup. You may not associate a grilled cheese with a restaurant of this caliber but PLEASE do try it! So rich/tasty and balanced with the caviar. The beef tenderloin was cooked exactly to my preferred temperature and my wife’s scallops were to perfection. To finish, let me tell you about the strawberry shortcake soufflé… please please please order it. We were tempted to make a dessert choice involving chocolate but the meal had already been on the richer side so we wanted to balance it out with sweet. A hot soufflé that you pour a strawber
