GREAT food and GREAT service! What else is there? Well, there is also a GREAT view of St. Armand's Circle from their balcony, and it's not expensive, either, so it's pretty much a home run on all counts. Unlike most restaurants, who tend to treat potatoes as an afterthought (Why?) and often serve up frozen, tasteless garbage that is undercooked, their "home fries" are perfectly golden brown with the most amazing flavor. And they are one of the few restaurants (only?) who know how to cook scrambled eggs. We went there for brunch, but they also have a decent-looking lunch and dinner menu. Highly recommended.
I feel this restaurant might be getting overlooked because of Columbia —- make sure you take the elevator up to this location! To say the food is good is an understatement, i’m overwhelmed by the quality, low prices, and beautiful view of the circle. We are from indiana so a nice breakfast spot is a big deal! Friendly staff. Decent breakfast menu. My daughter loved her Mickey Mouse pancake. Take the elevator upstairs and site outside for a view.
