Chubby Ray's

For years I have been a loyal customer and a strong supporter of Chubby Ray’s. It was always one of my favorite places to eat in town. However, in the last few years the quality of food and service has gone down, but I figured COVID hurt everyone so I continued going. Today, my little brother had a hankering for wings and I thought “Hey, Chubby Ray’s has wings! We’ll get a few to start and then have something else for lunch.” So we head on over and go in. When we walk in we’re the only customers besides an older gentleman who was leaving. We were taken to our seats and ordered our drinks. Our waiter promptly returned with the drinks and asked if we were ready. I said we needed a few more minutes to look over the menu. “Take your time.” he said. Well we had plenty of time considering he didn’t ever come back for 30 minutes. The whole time our server was busy tending to and entertaining the day drinkers at the bar. The food was awful. My Philly cheese sub tasted liked 3day old meat, the Italian sub was over baked and dry, couldn't even eat. Food was cold. Great service though. Overpriced for the quality of food.

Had a great time Saturday July 16, 2022 went to watch Uptown Band. They are awesome. I ordered the steak tacos. They were good. The waitress worked her butt off. She did a great job. Wish I had got her name. Need more great employees like that. I will definitely be going back. The place was packed. 2 couples were nice enough to let me sit at their table with them since it was just me. I was making videos for Facebook of the band.
