China Panda

We tried it a few times when we didn’t have time to cook or got home late. It’s a small American Chinese food place, so we didn’t expect much. They’re not even trying. The food is completely flavorless and every dish severely flawed. The kids solve American Chinese, and this is so bad, last time I offered, they chose pasta instead. They won’t even eat it anymore. It’s strange because the woman who runs it just can’t cook.

I don’t know if they were just really busy, but this was the worst Chinese restaurant I’ve ever had. I honestly have no idea how people rate it more than 2-3 stars. The chicken and beef had such a weird texture that I ended up throwing out my Triple Delight. Surprisingly the shrimp weren’t too bad, so I just ate those out of the dish before tossing. The Gen Tso chicken was sitting in a mix of oil and sauce with the constancy of water. Perhaps that’s how they serve Gen Tso, but I’ve never seen it like that and it wasn’t good. The egg rolls were typical and fine. The Teriyaki chicken (chicken on a stick) was pretty good. The white rice was ok. The rest of the meal was terrible. Take a :30 drive and go to China Spring next to Kroger. They aren’t the greatest ever but they are 1000% better than China Panda.

Always delicious beyond compare! I live two hours away and knew it was the best Chinese cuisine between there and home, so stocked up. Great curbside service!
