China King Buffet

I've eaten here several times and, while the food is not the best, it's usually good and the selection is really good. Today was different. The peel and eat shrimp smelled funny, the bourbon chicken was over cooked, and the green beans were bland. If this had been my first time visiting this restaurant it would have also been my last. Hopefully the kitchen just had a bad day.

Not the best, not the worst. It's kind of hit or miss. When I first starting going here, I liked it. But the last few times, not so much. Sometimes the food looks & tastes like it's been sitting around too long, like their decor. This place could be really great if they'd update it, & swap out the items that have been sitting out too long. They're kind of pricey too, especially on Sunday. If you feel like having a Chinese buffet, & don't care about the ambiance or your wallet, give it a try. If you're picky, you better look elsewhere. Tried it again today. The cheese wontons and the seafood salad were good, but the chicken didn't taste right. This will be my last time.

It's ok but not what it used to be. Buffet isn't what it was before. Kinda worth the drive to West Knoxville, another buffet 20 minutes away with probably an additional 75 items! Much better food and selection.
