China Buffet-St Louis

Haven't ate here in years because I no longer live close. Food was still pretty good but no longer had scoop your own ice cream. The soft serve ice cream machine was broke. No big deal. It was very hot inside the restaurant too. Obviously had air conditioning problems. Still a fair price of $9.99 a person for lunch.

This evening, I decided on this buffet location for my birthday. It was a fantastic choice for dinner and totally exceeded each of my family members’ expectations. The waitress who assisted us was very nice and helpful. There are varieties of choices ranging from rice, noodle, chicken, sushi, appetizers, to dessert. Personally, the chicken were so good and the spaghetti + soup I had was delicious. My favorite dish was the cheese mussel and my family agreed it’s their best as well. In fact, they have the best seafood out of all the Asian restaurants I attended. I was really excited about the crab rangoon, but the cheese was just fine. Overall, I encourage you to give this small business a try, it was so worth spending dinner here!

Staff was courteous and that is why it rated 3*. Food wasn't hot or especially flavorful. Egg roll had a bitter exterior. Near as I could tell the chows chicken had no chicken, just batter and flavorless sauce. Kid-friendliness: There were kids and babies. The staff did all they could for them.
