At the very least, work on customer service when you’re the customers first impression. I have been a hostess and I’ve worked in food service since I started working, but this was something else. We were greeted by a manager and told the wait would be 10 minutes. A few minutes later, the actual hostess arrived and began asking several other parties for the number of people and told them their wait would be 20 minutes. 20 minutes later, the hostess began actually asking for names and phone numbers to finally organize who came first and who to seat. This organization had to be prompted by a guest asking how she knew who was going first. She seemed to be irritated by us all. I watched three parties leave, and another 30 minutes later we were finally sat. Our poor, but extremely kind server had just been triple sat by the same hostess within 10 minutes. He redeemed our visit and kept our drinks full despite how busy he was.

I feel Chili’s isn’t what it used to be for me. Ashley was our server and she was wonderful. They triple sat her when we arrived, but we never felt ignored. She was lovely and quick to help with anything we needed. For me, it was the food. The quality of the burger, fries and fajita had no taste. The ranch was runny and tasteless.

Service was great but food not so much. Ribs were bland, had it not been for the sauce. The mango margarita however was very tasty but it does sneak up on you. ????
