Chicken Express

Chicken was old and overcooked. And dry. Restaurant was dirty. Employees very unfriendly. It has really gone down hill.

I went through the drive thru to order gizzards because they cook the gizzards up fresh each time I have ordered them before today and I am almost positive they were cooked up fresh today as well. The reason I am leaving a comment today is the gizzards I received in this order looked like crumbs off of a piece of chicken there wasn't any meat to them at all plus what meat they did have on them were cooked so hard you couldn't even tell that it was a gizzard or just a crumb. So I parked my truck & went inside to show the manager or the person in charge. The sweet young lady that waited on me at the drivethru was the one that waited on me when I went inside also. She called the manager to the front & I showed her the Gizzards & she said it's what they delivered to them & they have no way of controlling the size of the stuff they get in so I ask her if she could replace them with regular chicken which she did nicely and I thanked her and went on my way. The food was fresh tasted good but the strips were like cut in half when you pay over 1.60 each I expect the hole strip I had 5 halves not good service also I was in the car with a law enforcement officer don't you all understand they are 24hr whether they are in uniform or not you should not penalized them you should back the blue these guys get paid let than just about any other profession and they put themselves out there for our safety the young lady could not give a discount because he wasn't in uniform but if you are military you get the discount and don't have to be in uniform this from the outside looks like your singling them out that's wrong they should get equal treatment they deserve it I gave 2 stars because of how the officer was treated trust me if you needed him whether he was in uniform or not he would be right there for you
