Got a chance to try something a bit out of the ordinary, but their dining facilities are seriously lacking so it’s only really a fast food or take out place (with a huge emphasis on the take out part). Decent food, but I found it pretty expensive for the quantities given, the atmosphere of the place, and the fact that most of what they were selling was not substantially better than the admittedly high quality frozen bao and dumplings you can buy from H mart or another Asian grocery store. Vegetarian options: Enough veg options Kid-friendliness: Very casual vibe means kids being a little rowdy won’t be a problem. Kid friendly finger food.
Chen's dumplings should be renamed to Chen's Palace of bland. Average tasting dumplings with below average noodles. If the broth had some seasoning in it it would be called water. I also ordered sticky chicken rice, which was 100% correct. However, it seemed they left out seasoning in the recipe. This place is great if you're allergic to good food.
Nice place. First floor is a little bit lack of space but second floor has big area for seating. Dumplings are very good, hand pulled noodles are great too. Their soy bean milk is fresh made and tasty, not too sweet. Dine in: Yes … More
