I highly recommend Chef Ping’s and the sesame beef. The menu has a large variety of entrees all of which are great. Food: 5 Star Service: 5 Star Ambiance: 4 Star Value: 5 Star
Pay a visit to this restaurant during my last visit to Chicago, oddly satisfying with just 3 or 4 dishes that we ordered for lunch. IMO it's very authentic for traditional Chinese cuisine and quite good even for my first visit so expectations are somewhat depressed. So it's only fair for update to my opinion with future visits which I will most likely do. My only complaint is that the restaurant is way outside of the metro city center of Chicago so it has to be a special occasion to drive here; and the long wait to get a table which is bit of surprise even for late Sunday afternoon. Fortunately the food is well worth it. Highly recommended if you happens to be out here and craving for some authentic Chinese food. Parking: Plenty of parking.
Had lunch here twice. Excellent. We had 3 different dishes. All were delicious. Lunch includes egg roll, fried wanton, and tea except for noodle dishes. Service was timely and friendly. A great place to enjoy lunch. It reestablished why I truly enjoy Chinese. The bill averaged $27 including a 20%+ tip.
