Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen

Had a wonderful meal here on a holiday weekend. Not too crowded and no wait for a table. Menu seems very reasonably priced, especially in a time where inflation has made everything so expensive. The drinks and entrees were generously (over)sized, especially relative to the prices. Our server Jared was extremely polite and helpful. We really had more of an experience than just simply a meal.

Bit of a trip from New Port Richey, but definitely will be making the trip again. So my mom really wanted a day out with me so we went to her favorite place. I did not realize it was about 20miles from the house. ???? When we got there it was a bit busy and a little loud from all the family conversations going around. But we were seated quickly and joined in with our own conversations. Waitress was super nice other than she was busy with so many tables that she would take a minute to come back and check. Also with all the conversations she forgot a few things here and there but quickly recovered when she was able to. Mom was obsessed with the honey butter croissants. She even got two more for 1.99. Me on the other hand stuck with basics as I was a little iffy with honey butter. The appetizer was delicious. Chicken was super juicy and the flavor was amazing. I'd never visited a Cheddar's before yet the wife had when she lived in Chicago and she had said it was very good so we went, 11th July around 2ish, and she wasn't lying. The front desk young lady was super nice, professional and we were sat within around 10 mins. I liked to text system with regards to awaiting / checking your seating time too. Our servicer, Allison, was great. The honey croissants were an absolute treat to wet the whistle while we decided what we wished to order. The wife ordered Cheddar's Trio Sampler which was 4 delicious hand-breaded chicken tenders, Santa Fe Spinach Dip (fantastic) Homemade Queso (lovely) and Tortilla Chips with salsa and an included side of the Honey Mustard dipping sauce for the tenders. As the wife doesn't eat that much I was given 2 of the tenders and also had a few chips, spinach dip and queso and it was really good!
