Charcoal Oven Restaurant

I added grilled onions to my burger and this is what i got. Burger was burnt, and tasted bland, fries were not even fresh. No I won't be back. Apart from the couple eating I was the only one there.. I knew I should've gone to Patty Wagon.

My husband and I were excited about trying this place. We both ordered the number two cheeseburger with hickory sauce, got our food and was surprised the burgers had so much sauce it was dripping off the burgers. The bread was mush because of the sauce. I pulled the top bun off to wipe some of the sauce off and find a big sliver of onion (my burger didn't come with onions). After using a handful of napkins to get some of the sauce off I decided to just take the meat from the burger and eat just that. The bread was mush anyway and the shredded cheese was cold and not melted at all. It honestly was the worst burger I think I've ever eaten because the sauce overpowered the taste of anything else. After paying $30 I would at least expect edible food but was very let down and disappointed. Would not recommend!

Take me back to my childhood! The locals will remember this as a drive-in on the Northwest Expressway east of May Avenue. I had the Frankfurter with chili and cheese and it totally hit the spot! Fries were delicious, restaurant with clean and nice. I would say it was a little pricey for hamburger and fries but worth it.
