The taste is authentic. It has the great smell and taste of Chinese medicine that brings up your mood of eating. The spice, ketchup and sauces taste great as well. It's good for 3 or perhaps 4 people for the hot pot with some extra side orders... too pricey for 2 eaters only. Parking is very limited but street parking is not too bad. Staffs mostly speak Mandarin or Cantonese.
Edit: This is the third time we visited this restaurant. The first two times were amazing. We ordered their hot pot this time and the portion is extremely small!!! The two person combo can’t even feed one. Don’t eat their hot pot!!! The rice noodle is amazing but their hot pot is super overpriced!!!! Original: The food is tasty and the portion is good enough. We order the A1 and the soup is really good. Definitely will come back!
This place used to be a Vietnamese Pho noodle house. The new place is now a Chao Zhou cuisine restaurant. There aren’t many Chao Zhou cuisine restaurants in the area and Chao Wei Ju is specialty in noodles and hotpots. I have only tried the A1 noodle soup, B1 oyster omelet, and C1 Shacha Sauce Beef Ribs. The noodle is good but overpriced for $14. I am not sure if the noodle is really hand made. The oyster omelet is just ok and it is also overpriced for $15. You only get very few oysters in it, and they are very small. You can find way better oysters omelet from other Cantonese restaurants such as Seafood Palace. The Shacha Sauce Beef Ribs is surprisingly good! The ribs are very soft/tender and very flavorful. I will definitely order the beef ribs again for my next visit. -1 star for price and not environment friendly. The price for the noodle soup is around $14 and the actual noodle soup looks totally different from the photo with much less ingredients. They use plastic plate for beef
