Chandler's Kitchen and Bar

This is a total gem in the middle of Flower Mound! We had the good fortune to have Katie wait on us (she’s amazing) and her service and hospitality were impeccable. Don’t miss the crab stuffed avocados (so much yummy goodness)! We skipped salads and had the pork chop and Cajun shrimp pasta for our entrees and both were so flavorful. The pork chop, in particular, was a revelation! Tender, juicy and so flavorful. We paired it with a bottle of Austin Hope and it was perfect. Based on Katie’s recommendation we had the apple bread pudding for dessert and, even though we were pretty full, we demolished it. So tasty! If you haven’t been to Chandler’s you are missing out. It is exactly what Parker Square has been missing!

Great atmosphere and ambiance! The staff was very friendly, honest, humble, and informative. I believe they’re on the right track to being an outstanding place. The cocktails were amazing! I tried the chefs special and it did not disappoint. We will definitely return and help support the success of this local business.

The staff and food was damn good. We absolutely loved our dinner, and our waitress Alex was awesome. I really appreciated her help figuring out a vegetarian option (more below). I highly recommend, and am looking forward to coming back. There are 2 reasons I dropped off a star. First, there are 0 vegetarian options outside of a salad or appetizer. Alex suggested ordering the Cajun shrimp pasta, sans Shrimp. I and glad I did, it was fantastic. But that was the limit to the options, and I wasn't expecting that. I am fully aware that not every place will have vegetarian options, but I can easily make a meal out of sides at Bob's Steak and Chop House. Second, don't bother ordering the coffee, it's not good. Vegetarian options: Limited to salads (ask for no bacon), spinach artichoke dip (fantastic), or the Cajun shrimp pasta minus the shrimp. Kid-friendliness: nope, leave 'em at home
