Catrina Fresh Mex

Had the California burrito with extra large pico. Very fresh and very good. Topped it off with a margarita! Never had been and went only because my "regular" place didn't open until 11am. Mistake on their part. This place was doing a very serious take-out business. You can watch them cook the food...a plus for me as strange kitchens give me the willie's. I'll go back. Added bonus, the car wash was across the street.

I have eaten here before with my family and everything was fine, but when I went in for a to go order in the evening, the manager, who took my order was very gruff and totally unfriendly. The way he sacked my food up, it caused the food box to go sideways and when I got it home, the food was all messed up. The food was cold. The worst of it was the pepper was burned almost to a crisp and they had put an obviously already used lime they put in with it. That completely turned my stomach. I tried to squeeze it away from my food and no juice would come out. See photos. Makes me wonder what else was put in my order from a previous customers plate.

First timer. I was on the fence at first but when I saw multiple vehicles with road crew workers I knew the food had to be good. Absolutely delicious food! Fresh and piping hot right off the grill. I ordered the steak french fries and I devoured them. They have salsa in packets (a new one for me), I threw them both on and they both added even more to the flavor. Will definitely be coming back.
