Casa Rio

We came here this weekend for our Anniversary celebration and the food was amazing along with the music. We even danced while they played. The best part about this visit was Ms Virgie…. She made sure we had it all and took amazing care of us. To top it off with love and a laugh Ms Tina you are the original Turner!!! In your words Mexican style. We had a blast!!!

This is such a great place! The vibe at San Antonio Riverwalk, combined with great authentic Mexican food is the best! The salsa was so fresh! Wait times were not bad at all - even when we went for a Saturday evening dinner. Service was quick, recommendations were fantastic! Margaritas are very good too! Had a great time here! Will definitely visit again! Vegetarian options: Has plenty of vegetarian options too!

Went to Casa Rio on Thursday and had a very pleasant lunch. It’s wasn’t overcrowded and loud and the service was great. It really felt like we were walking into a family owned place and that was refreshing, considering they’re on the Riverwalk. We were sat immediately and were able to place our order within a few minutes. The food came out pretty fast and it was so good. Also, when they bring you chips/salsa, each person gets their own serving of salsa. Highly recommend this restaurant and I’ve been to couple out here in the past. This place is by far the best service we have received from a restaurant on the Riverwalk.
