Casa Del Barco - Short Pump Town Center

The food was delicious and our waiter, Kyle, was phenomenal! We got the nachos as an appetizer. It was huge. We got different types of tacos for entrees. So yummy!

The manager Chad was awesome!!!! Our server wasn't not attentive at all the manager bought us our food and checked on us. The food is great try the Carne asada fries they are awesome but beware those red peppers ???? pack a punch. The food was great a bit slow coming out I just think that was because we had a horrible server. You are able to customize your adult drinks to your liking and the pork in any dish is super flavorful. The chicken is dry and bland and remember they already charge you for gratuity! It's hard getting used to ordering on the phone! I recommend ordering drinks and apps and waiting for that to come out before ordering your entrées. Cool place to hang out on the weekend when the upstairs is open but don't get too tipsy up there they do not have an elevator lol.

I am not really sure how this place has more than a 3.5 rating. I gave one star because the Asada Fries were amazingly good. I will give them props because they are paying their servers a livable wage and in doing that you automatically pay a 20% service charge. The entrees were bland and had zero flavor. I got the crispy fish burrito. Flavorless the fish was soggy and there’s not way it was fresh because it wasn’t hot when served , it was barely warm. My wife ordered the shrimp fajitas , also flavorless and the beans and rice were not good either. To give it another shot we also had the corn. Way too salty. We informed the manager they removed the corn from our bill and tried to explain it was salty because of the chili. It’s overhyped and overpriced for bland food save your money.
