Carson's Sports Bar & Restaurant

We used to love Carson's even though it had bouncers that were always borderline bullying patrons, we always tried to steer clear of them. But our last time there one of our party was hit by the bouncer for no reason other than "I told you to move" which he had not told them to do so. The bouncer further more attempted to hit our party member and hit me in the process while we were trying to escape their onslaught and leave the bar. I have never been treated so poorly by an establishment before.

Do not support a business that refuses to let anyone who does not have a US ID in. We have been going to Carson's almost every weekend for the past year. It was one of our favorite places in Soulard. Then their policies changed and they will no longer let my friend in with her non-US issued passport. She has been supporting your business for months and now you won't let her in? Or the thousands of other visitors St.Louis gets? Not only is this a hateful choice, it's a bad business decision. Do better Carson's, do better.

Carson’s is one of my favorite karaoke spots in STL. That being said, I’ve come to learn that the owners have a policy where they do not allow anyone without a US passport into the bar. This is unacceptable. Just because you are not a US born citizen does not mean you should not get to experience everything this city has to offer and excluding people that still have a valid passport that would otherwise be accepted in other establishments is just downright racist and tone deaf with the current climate. Do better ownership.
