The food in this place is amazing! I was incredibly pleased with their appetizer and specialties menu. Even their complementary bread basket and olive oil was delicious. If you ever have the pleasure of going to this place and you are unsure of what to order, try the Pollo Rosa Maria and the Fettuccine Carrabba. Those two dishes have some of the best pasta and chicken I've ever had in my life! The sauces that come with them are out of this world. Besides that, the service is fast and accommodating to the customers request. If I could give this place 10/10 stars I would. If you are in Tampa, don't miss it!
The food was overall pretty good. Thicker sauces to appease an American palette. The bread was very good, and ate too much of it! The seafood dishes were a little better than the steak dishes. Overall it was an enjoyable meal. Our server was very understaffed. It seemed like 3 people were running the full front of house with our server in the lead role. Things got done fairly well, and through no fault of the Team. Just too many guests for the short staff. But they did a great job too under the circumstances.
I liked the atmosphere of this restaurant. It was clean, well decorated, and modern. Our meal was good and the portions were large. My daughter enjoyed her spaghetti and 1 meatball from the kid's menu. She ate all of it, which was impressive. I give this restaurant 4 stars because it took a long time for the server to get to us after we were seated. Then, he was a little rushed and kept talking over us. He wasn't interested in doing more than the bare minimum. The olive oil and herbs were very good with the Italian bread. My linguine pescatore was a whole lot of pasta with a few shrimp, scallops, and mussels. The scallops tasted like freezer burn. My hubby had the short rib marsala. He liked it and said it was really good. We had tiramisu for dessert, which was not too sweet and really tasty. I liked the chocolate shavings on the top. We had a lot of pasta to take home.
