Carrabba’s Italian Grill (Chain Restaurant Review)-1575 Palm Bay Road NE, Palm Bay, FL 3-Stars I frequented Carrabba's when the Big Boy actually focused on losing weight at a time long since passed. Established in 1986 by John Charles "Johnny" Carrabba III and his uncle, Damian Mandola, and now a part of Bloomin’ Brands Inc. (think Outback and Bonefish Grill) since 2021, Carrabba’s is the 2nd largest Italian-themed chain in the US; Florida is currently home to more Carrabba’s than any other state and they have my second favorite salad in the whole world: the Johnny Rocco. It is a mélange of crisp romaine lettuce, roasted red peppers, meaty Kalamata olives, and a mild, yet salty, this salad is delightful. Though no longer weight watching, I elected to rekindle my palate with my old friend, substituting creamy Parmesan dressing for the standard house Italian vinaigrette. As you know we recently moved here to Palm Bay. Rachel and I have found out go to spot. This service is amazing and I absolutely love the attention to detail this kitchen staff has. Hopefully I spell everyone’s name right but here we go Donavan and Jason have been on the line both times we have been here so fair and the food is stellar. Tonight Josh was our server and dug himself out when he had what looked like been over sat. We get it it’s tough out here during this time in everyone’s lives and we pay to go out to get a break from the day to day and you can rest assured these guys here including Dillion all deserve the recognition of making our evening a great one. Thanks again to the management because your staff is a direct reflection of your leadership. Please reward your staff with a token of your appreciation to uphold the standard that you demand from them. Because everyone should spend their money here because it’s money well spent. You can't go wrong with this Carrabba's location either. It is hard to beat for a chain restaurant. I always love eating here. Here's a tip: ask for garlic and olive oil noodles as a side. They are amazing. I got a ribeye steak here recently. Surprisingly it was very good!
