Capital Burgers & Dogs

Came here on a date night with my wife and at first glance I thought I might be disappointed, it’s not one of the bustling swankier places downtown offers. I was pleasantly surprised with how good everything was! The “smashed”burger patties are unique and delicious, served slightly charred (but not dry), ingredients and toppings were fresh, and the taste and temperature were great. My wife and I also split a hot dog and a house salad and we were both pretty full by the end of the meal. Prices were great for what we ordered. This is a quiet and delicious hidden jewel. It’s obviously the owner had dream for this place and went for it.

What a cool little burger joints. It's tiny but has very cool atmosphere. No thrills smash burgers, dogs and fries. My kid got the chili cheese fries and they were delicious, fries are VERY good here. I got the Arthur Ashe Burger less blue but with extra patty, bacon and cheese. Very good. Not too much special sauce on it, would have liked a little more. Onion rings were a little over fried, that was the only downside. Was surprised they didn't have condiments and vinegar out on tables. Had to ask for condiments. Overall a very good burger and dog at an incredible price. Its nice to have a spot in the city where you're not paying $20 for a burger. Will definitely be back.

This is great. The hotdogs are made wonderful. I’m from Brooklyn,NY and I always stop by places like these to check them out. The NY style hot dogs are great! I definitely recommend this place! I added the ketchup later…LOL!
