Canton Dragon

Today I ordered cashew chicken with my wife off the lunch menu. Portions here are large, with potential to share a single meal. The food tastes as though made with fresh whole ingredients, was very impressed with the thai tea my wife chose to have. I can say that I was very happy with the food and leftovers from our meals. Would like to return for another meal in near future. Thank you! PS. Sorry for spilling thai tea on your table ????

Like most stories, many good things have to come to an end. In my experience, eating at Canton Dragon was the best of the best when it comes to Chinese. I'd rather travel from Gilbert than go elsewhere for it. But unfortunately all good things have to end. The egg rolls go from crisp and juicy, to now being doughy, tasting like wet cardboard. The sweet and sour pork goes from being moist and savory, to being doughy and chewy. The lemon chicken goes from being juicy and fresh, to being dry and bland. You see where I'm going with this? The only thing they haven't managed to change is the pork fried rice. Which is really great in itself, but for 80 dollars? I'd rather light the money on fire and dig through the trash. I'd prefer to throw it in the garbage and keep this place as a lovely memory. Which is exactly what I have done. I don't know what has changed, but if this place doesn't revert to how they made food before, they won't be around much longer.

Honestly disappointed. The food was very good, and I want to make sure that’s known. The service is why they are getting a 1 star. I ordered certain dishes and received completely different menu items. When I called them to see if I got someone’s order, they told me “you got what you ordered” and hung up on me. I mean that’s not customer service. Just frustrating I guess, at least pretend like you give a s***.
