Cantaritos Mexican Restaurant

Wanted Mexican - we always go to Chuys which I like. But my husband wanted to try something different. So we came here. We walked in and weren’t served right away for a table. The music was extremely loud. Can not hear the person next to you even speak. We ordered our food, but everything I wanted they didn’t have. Why I don’t know. But it was on the menu. The service was very slow. My soda tasted terrible. When the food came it wasn’t hot. I had a chicken fajita- I had a lot of chicken but few pieces of onions. The chicken was kinda hard. The rice was minimal and blend. The fajitas were card board tasting. Not good at all. The chips were terrible too. Not a good experience and won’t be going back. Only gave it a 2 because the decor was nice. That’s it! Stick to chuys. Much better!

Went here for the first time after leaving Surge, I was craving tacos but not the biggest fan of the taco place at the mall. I'm glad I did! The service was quick, I ordered the birria tacos and they were delicious, they served their consume with a spoon which I thought was super helpful. Will def be back to try their margs, they looked amazing and the bar was super cute. Kid-friendliness: my kids loved his food

Fantastic authentic Mexican! Also makes excellent papusas!
