Let me start by saying I love California Pizza Kitchen! I have eaten at various locations for over 20 years! I usually opt for the pizza, but today I tried the Banh Mi power bowl and it did not disappoint! Beautiful balance of flavor and texture. If you can handle the heat, you should definitely add the jalapeños. Lunch rush May leave you waiting a bit, but service was great, even from a trainee.
Tonight was a great meal and good service. Sicilian pizza was on point. The Hawaiian pizza was a great dish with the pineapple, ham and bacon. My wife had Creamy Fettuccine with Chicken which is her favorite. Butter Cake for dessert was always the final goal.
Definitely a bit overpriced, but I also thoroughly enjoyed my meal. You can definitely tell that all the ingredients are top notch, with amazing flavor. All the wait staff were friendly and it offered a nice atmosphere as well. If you want a high quality pizza and don’t mind paying high prices, definitely give this place a try!
