California Pizza Kitchen at Sarasota

I have been coming to this CPK location for YEARS and I am never disappointed. The food is always top quality, good portions, I always walk out full and happy, delicious food (oh man, the butter cake & avocado rolls, if you have to try one thing, just those will change your life), and the best service. I always ask for Lukas or Shawnda, they always help me with a smile on their face, very friendly, attentive and all around amazing servers. I see them smiling with the other servers and you can tell they want to be there and make people happy. Always happy and moving around non stop. The manager, Brian. He always stops by and checks how my meal is going, how things turned out and makes the experience so personable. I’ve noticed him check in with his team mates and help bring out food to the tables. For all Indian who crave good cauliflower 65. You will not get it better than cpk. even in traditional Indian restaurant perfect crunch and spice level. All of their small plates are our favorite. For whatever reason their thin crust Pizza was much chewy than I expected. We had chipotle chicken pizza. Overall great food as always and friendly staff.

CPK really knows how to adapt their menu offerings to accommodate dietary preferences. I was introduced to the very first plant based chicken I had ever had when I tried it on their Thai chicken pizza. It was so satisfying! Very pleased that they use Sweet Earth's Mindful Chicken, a meat alternative that I now cook with and love! It's fantastic on their bbq chicken pizza too. I tried two of their mocktails, desert pear lemonade and golden state lemonade - great thirst quenchers with the mint leaves, particularly in this summer heat. I love going here because of the variety they offer for vegetarians. Bonus - CPK's plant based bbq chicken pizza is also available in grocery stores! (At Target for sure)
