This place was simply TOP NOTCH! And I loved all the little plants/vegetables they had growing right outside the patio. The rolls with butter were insane, as were the Romano green beans and main course fish! I can't wait for the next time I can stop in and eat good food while my parents tell stories about their crazy childhood!
This spot is a Grand Rapids must! Simple and excellently prepared seasonal food (the roasted half chicken was absolutely fantastic) and a really great atmosphere for a special dinner. The space is quaint and on the smaller side but really clean and fresh. Lovely wait staff, incredible wine list (mostly by-the-bottle), and an all around thumbs-up.
Cafe Mamo is an awesome spot for a date or smaller group of friends. Very cool decor and interior design bring a great mood to the meals. The menu is very reasonably priced. Since the menu rotates seasonally, I believe, it has a rather small selection of entrees (only 4 when we went) which I love because it means the chefs will nail it! Will 100% be coming back in a few months, if not sooner
